Help, I've just created a self-hosted WP website for a client who is an artist, and on her gallery page all the thumbnails of her work are discolored - the red paintings are brown in the thumbnails.

    http://www.honeybee-creative.com/karinasilver/art-gallery

I uploaded them at full size, which are optimized & sized jpegs for the full view at 700px wide. I choose Thumbnail as I insert into her Art Gallery page. The thumbnail looks terrible but the full size when clicked looks fine. I have tried both jpg and gif files and gif fares worse. I am using Fancybox plugin to handle the image gallery display.

Please help, this is a big 'wrench' in the works with a project I really need to conclude, and this artist is all about color, so she will not accept these thumbnails. I've searched this forum and google and have not found any answers. Thanks in advance!

Have you checked that the hosts are using the latest version of GD Library?

Thank you so much for your idea, I figured out an answer right before I checked with my hosting. The client had given me images that were RGB, looked great at full size, but when compressed as a thumbnail there was something corrupt in the color profile. I had to change mode to CMYK then back to RGB and save out as a jpeg, then when uploaded, the thumbnails look fine. I lost hours on this problem, so hopefully this will save someone else some time. Thanks again for answering, esmi.
