Site Layout Customizer
Thumbnail images stretched, skewed (3 posts)

Hello! First I would like to say I love this plugin, it helps my site look better by giving some variety.

Now I would like to know if there is a way to get the thumbnail images to not be skewed? Can this be done with CSS? Because it looks bad when images are stretched out of proportion.

The thumbnail images I refer to can be seen towards the bottom of my home page:

Thanks in advance for your assistance :)

On the settings, if you look at each layout's individual settings, you can specify the image width & height. I've left mine blank for width, and the images crop to square. Also, I selected thumbnail for the image size, which should cause the layout to take whatever thumbnail is associated with that image.

If, for example, you have a 150x150 px image, but the layout is set to be 150x250, that could cause the skewing. Not sure if that is the case for you, but maybe some food for thought!

So... what you're saying is it works, as long as you don't use the setting that came with the plugin? ;)

Thanks for the tip, it's *less* skewed if I use medium instead of thumbnail, so you were onto something, but it's still skewed. I'm hoping someone knows some css I can add or something that will make the plugin crop the image like it's supposed to. I'm using the layout on a page I want to look different from my other pages.
