    I’m running a WP network with a blogs.dir directory.

I’m having issues with the media library not showing the thumbnails and my latest image not displaying in the first post on my blog, http://bit.ly/1pCp0an

I can see the image in the blog post when I’m logged in, but I can’t see it on the front end when I’m testing with another browser when not logged in.

Here are screens of my settings.

    General Settings: http://awesomescreenshot.com/00b38hgp1e
    Minify Settings: http://awesomescreenshot.com/03238heje5
    CDN Settings: http://awesomescreenshot.com/04538hi64a
    Screenshot of Media Library: http://awesomescreenshot.com/06f38him13

I did read the post on another thread talking about adding:

    /wp-content/uploads

in the field under the CDN setting

It says something about adding /blogs.dir/<current blog> but I’m not exactly sure what that means, because all blogs are “current” in a network scenario.

Do they mean the “primary” blog?

And, the current blog would be:

/blogs.dir/2/ for the second blog in the network with the ID of two.

That really isn’t explained all that well.

Please advise. The screenshots I posted are only avail for 3 days.

I finally figured it out myself. It was a very, very weird issue and maybe nothing to do with Total Cache.

I went to deactivate all plugins in one of the sites in the network. WordPress took a lot of time to figure out what I was asking it to do. Once it resolved itself, none of the plugins deactivated, but JetPack did disconnect from WordPress.com. Once that transpired, all thumbnails images in the media library returned.

I have never seen anything like it, but that’s the result I got. Now, all thumbs work again.

    Weird.

This topic is now resolved. It wasn’t a total cache issue or so it seems. It was related to some weird issue with JetPack’s connection to WordPress.com and when that was disconnected, thumbnails reappeared.
