Thumbnail->ImageBrowser instead of JS opening

Hi,

I want to build up a gallery using compact album view -> thumbnail view and whern clicking on any image opening “ImageBrowser” style view instead of the default JS overlay.

Is there any simple way to get this to work without modifying the source?
