Thumbnail Creating Failed – but able to edit them?

    Whenever I upload images, the thumbnail creation always fails. I’ve tried the memory increase hack, setting permissions on the folders to allow creation but nothing works. The slideshow also hangs infinitely.

    The only work around I’ve found is that I can edit the thumbnail and then the thumbnail ends up generating. Any idea why this is?
