Three Dots Appearing Where "Hidden" Title Field Was (6 posts)

    Hey Folks,

So I run a blog network of nearly 45 blogs and recently all of the blogs on the network started to have three dots appear in the header area of their blogs. The blog network has 4 Carrington based themes to choose from, with some customization elements allowed for each theme.

This is impacting all themes where blog owners have "hidden" their blog titles in an effort to use a header image in place of the title. It overlays "..."on top of their header image. If you go into the theme settings and "Show" blog title, the title appears without the dots.

I have been hunting in the CSS as well as in the plugin itself that allows for the "show/hide" title for the carrington theme without any luck. Would anyone be able to point me in a direction to look for these dots? Here are a couple of blogs for you to see it in action.

I look forward to someone finding this for me.

Ahhhh, well I assumed that this was a cross browser issue and should have checked before posting. This appears to only be happening in the latest version of wordpress.

I have since looked at it across, Safari, Chrome, RockMelt and IE and the issue is not showing. So what could be causing it to break in Firefox then? I thought Firefox was the most forgiving of them all?

Ah, shows up in FF 8 as well. That's not good. Have you got Firebug? If so, can you sort out what's creating them? I would guess a call to ul/li.
