Three different blogs on one WP engine. Possible? (2 posts)

    Hi there,

This post is just to feed my curiosity.

I have three different domains binded (DNS + srv config) to the same server and the same path on this server. I would like to run three, completely separate blogs, using the same WP engine.

Would that be possible in any way? And is so - what steps should be undertaken to achieve this?

Why would I like to have three blogs run by one engine, instead of changing configuration so each domain would point to a different folder on server and installing three different WPs? Well... there are many advantages in my opinion. To name: one administration, one maintenance, one version update and many more things that can be speed up, while centralizing management of three blogs in one engine.

Once again -- this is purely to feed my curiosity. I assume that above is not possible at all and that I'm asking for something not possible. Which lead me to a conclusion, than eventually I'll end up with three different WPs instalation in three separate server folders.

Thank you in advance for any reply.

    Cheers,
    Trejder
