Is it me or does Brian’s plugin not work with 2.2.x? Does anyone have the latest version of WP working with his threaded comments? The google search above turned up nothing I can actually use.
Are there any alternatives or hacks to Brian’s that will do *exactly* what his does – give the user a reply to link, nest the new comment underneath the replied to comment, that will work with 2.2.3?
I know this is WP blasphemy, but I’ll have to redo the entire blog with 2.1 if I can’t find anything – this functionality is crucial.
I’m desperate.

I had it working with 2.2. How is it failing for you?
It just wouldn’t function at all. Clicking reply did nothing, no formatting, nothing. I had someone rewrite it for 2.2, two days before 2.3 came out. Ç’est la vie.

I’m looking for a plug-in that will allow my WordPress blog to have threaded comments a la LiveJournal, so when I reply to someone’s comment, it will e-mail that person to say I replied to their comment.
Does such a plug-in exist?
