This version or higher with 3.5.1 wordpress breaks site

I have 3.5.1 version wordpress and if I install/update passed the 5.1 version, it breaks my wordpress site and all I see is a blank white page. If I go back to version 1.5 the site comes back.

The problem is that there are issues with all the versions now that I have updated my WordPress install. The biggest issue is that all the buttons on the calendar page are broken where you cannot change views and you cannot change months or years.
