    If you don't give support for free users, you don't qualify to be in the free themes list.
    Free users are helping you to debug and improve your theme by using it. It is a two way, give and take relationship. This is the spirit of WP!!! This is the FREE themes section. If you don't give us support, please put your them in the commercial list, and don't mislead us and waste our time.

  2. That's not a useful review. What did you like or dislike about the theme itself?

    That's not at all true and support has always been optional for any code that's posted in the theme or plugin repository here.

    Of course it's nice when the author does support their work or at least explain where to get support but that's not really a requirement or even in the "spirit" of this place.

    The theme looks promising, but I really don't know what I like, because I quit it immediately after I couldn't make the Social Icons work, after enough frustrations and wasted time. (I read and followed the simple instructions, and it didn't work ). I found in the support forum an entry about 'social icons not working', which was ignored by the developer, obviously because it came from a free user. I made a simple assumption that perhaps the Social Icons are only included in the paid version. I checked the marketing material, and didn't find any note on exclusion of Social icons for free users.

    I admit the theme looks very promising. Great and thoughtful recommendations to avoid using plugins and to rather make use of the Built-in Social Icons for the sake of the SWIFT advantage, but the end result disappointing.

    I hope this is a useful enough review.

    Thanks for your reply, and best wishes.

    No one wants to be stuck with a theme with no support. If you don't give support to free users, then this theme is only useful for paid users.

    All free WordPress themes come with a lifetime money-back guarantee. That sounds like a pretty good support arrangement to me.

    @magnolia234

    Why do they need to give free support? They're giving a free theme.

    I'm a website designer and I can troubleshoot any problem I come into contact with. People pay me big money to do it too. Why should the creators of the theme give you a service for free that anyone else would charge for?

    Also, based on your complaints I don't feel you can justify a 1 star review. Having issues with something so small as the social icons, and not offering free support is at least 3 stars in my opinion.
