   This page:
   http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/adsense/

   supposedly makes things simple, but I cannot find a file called sidebar.php and there are lots of files called index.php and none of them have the code which is shown for me to alter.

   I am not an idiot, so what am I missing here.

   I have wordpress at http://www.loch-ness.com/lochnesstony

   I installed adsense manager and uploaded it to the plugin folder of wordpress.

   I did an advert in my wordpress files as instructed.

   The advert does not appear.

   That's where I am now.

   Obviously something I am being thick about. Can someone cut through this and get me started. Searching the forums has not helped.

   Solved. Usual problem. A whizkid who uses the system all the time assumed knowledge not available to a first time user.
