This forum and the search engine are extremely inefficient

The extension search function is so inefficient that it took me years to decide to use wordpress anyway. I have to rely on others to let me know what extensions they’ve found. With our technology capacity these days, why not use a good search engine? I put in three words and it finds every extension using any one of those any where in the description. How about an advanced search capacity? How many hours are wasted by this whole world trying to find something?

And the search field for this forum is hard to find. In this requests and feedback forum, I can’t find one anywhere.

Please consider upgrading this. Many people are frustrated with this.
