• Hi,
    I installed some third party themes. Though they looked good in demos, they are having issues on my website. I have installed a local host for offline editing.
    Here are the problems I’m facing:

    Images not coming
    Site not displaying properly
    Content not showing

    I don’t understand PHP so I’m unable to find errors
    Thanks in advance for the help

  • Where did you download these themes from? Are any of them commercial (paid for) themes?

    Its a free theme. Here’s the link
    http://www.web2feel.com/milano-theme/

    First off, that Theme is over two years old. I would generally assume that it won’t install/work properly (or, at least, work well) in the most recent version of WordPress.

    Second, that Theme is not released under a GPL-compatible license, so we can’t help you. (Even worse: it’s distributed with GPL-licensed code bundled.)

    Third, that Theme is full of malicious code (encrypted code, spammy footer links, etc.), and security-risk code (outdated version of TimThumb, poorly written Theme settings, etc.

    Just a reminder: only download Themes from trusted sources.

    @chip : Thanks for replying.

    Guys, I googled some more and found this one theme off a reliable website. Not too sure about its reliability though but I found that site listed on many forums. I downloaded this theme from that site :-

    My blog on my local machine looks like this ..

    Also, is this theme safe? I found it listed on this website named smashingmagazine or something. help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙂

    What happens if you use the Twenty Eleven theme?
