There is no dashboard for me to do anything at http://www.tracyfineart.com/blog/

Thanks for any advise or solution to this.

Since we cannot login - the link above is useless.

If there is no dashboard... what is there?

Did you check that you uploaded ALL the WP files in the /wp-admin folder?

    "what is there?"

If you do click the link that's what is there. Just a basic WordPress Theme.

My blog is hosted on my server. I'll check my control panel there and see if there's anything not done, or not ready yet and get back to you.

    Thanks.

    That's a complete nonsense.
What happens when you click on the Login or Site Admin link in the sidebar? After logging it does it take you to the dashboard or what?

All checks out on my server. But if I could just login I'd get to the dashboard. However I get this error:

ERROR: Invalid username. This suggests my Password is correct.

This is doubly complicated. I had a WordPress Blog I titled "Illustrated Ideas" through my server just 2 weeks ago. Had it for months. Then I re-published my main web site at tracyfineart.com via Microsoft FrontPage and it published with no problem. But immediately all my sub-sites were simply gone! Including my WordPress Blog. No one knows how this could happen.

Finally I had my server start a new blog with WordPress 2 days ago. Again, all went well. I entered the information including a password and it doesn't ask me to supply a username, only my email.

Now I've seen a page where WordPress asks for my email to login, but I don't find that anymore.

See? Complicated. At least to me. Maybe I'm doing something that's making the whole thing harder than it is.

There is sits in my FTP program as tracyfineart.com/blog with a ton of things in the wp-admin folder.

    What do you think?

Login takes me to Username/Password. I know my password but username? I've tried the one that used to work, and then some.

There is no Site Admin link.

In WP the username is always "admin"

re-published my main web site at tracyfineart.com via Microsoft FrontPage

Don't do that ever on a site where you use WP. Better: forget alltogether that FP, not even MS is supporting it! Don't use it. Period.

    Username "admin". Thanks.

After that disaster with FP I do not use it. I'm using FTP for everything.

    Sorry for all the trouble.

Thanks for listening. I've got to the dashboard now.
