Hi, my categories aren't showing up on my page.

I want to add them, i.e. the archive-(category slug name).php but there isn't a an archive.php page to begin with.

Should I just take an archive.php from another theme?

    Brent.

No, it needs to be based on your functions file..review the codex on how to create an archives.php file or use a theme with one.

    Hi SwansonPhotos:

I just did a search on "create archive.php" in codex, and there is no documentation on how to create this file.

I am a total newbie at word press. Could you tell me how to create archive.php or point me to a page that shows me how?

    It is greatly appreciated,

    Brent.

    Thanks SwansonPhotos.

I noticed the archives.php in the above link you pasted is somewhat similar to an archives.php file in another theme I have (called "responsive").

Is there any harm from just grabbing an archive.php from another theme?

    Brent.
