This is probable a really simple and obvious question, but since I don’t know the exact answer I thought I’d look for the correct one.

SITUATION: I am currently running the latest version of WP multisite and for one of the sub-directory sites I want to change the admin email from this@email.com to customer@customer.com. I entered my own email address during the setup of this domain however now the client has supplied me with an email they want to use.

I went to the dashboard and under settings > general then located and replaced the old email with the new one, however I get the following message:

"There is a pending change of the admin e-mail to..”

What does this mean? Did the new email I entered in the system generate an automatic email verification that the client needs to accept before this change happens? Or what??

Also, can I add multiple email addresses as the admin by simply separating them with a comma?

I look forward to your input!!

  2. Did the new email I entered in the system generate an automatic email verification that the client needs to accept before this change happens?

    yes.

no. you can't in single site either.

  3. But you CAN make an email alias on your server, and have THAT forward to multiple accounts.
