I have a problem. I have just installed a freash copy of wordpress to my new hosting, who I know for a fact do support WordPress. When I click on the 'Design' Link wordpress cannot see the installed themes. I have tryed re-uploading the files concerned with this themes area, but I still cannot get it working. How can I fix this?

For starters, provide more information.
What are the names of the themes you uploaded?
What directory did you upload the theme to?
What is the name of the directory that the theme files are in AFTER uploading? In other words, if you uploaded a theme to the wp-content/ directory, I want to know whats after wp-content/

You need to look at how the default theme is uploaded, and follow that structure. Do not nest folders, ie, you should not have anything like this:
wp-content/theme-name/theme-name/ .. and than the files.
Also, you should not have spaces in any directory names.

Please note that this is a theme that I am trying to build, not a downloaded one.
