Theme options missing

Hi all,
I have WPMU 2.9.2 installed with the Mystique as default theme.
I tried to upgrade it to WordPress 3.0 multi site, and everything went well, accept administrators can’t access mystique theme options page on their blogs any more. Link to the settings page: Dashbord >Appearance > Mystique Settings is missing unless you have super admin privileges. If I manually try to access the page through wp-admin/themes.php?page=theme-settings as regular administrator it reroutes me to wp-admin/?c=1

I even try it on a fresh install of WordPress 3.0 multi site and there was a same behavior there. It looks like some kind of security issue, but I’ve been struggling with it for a few days, and went out of ideas where to look…

Has anyone had similar issue, to point me in right direction?

Mystique with 3.0.1. Turns out I can’t do tow things that I know of. I can’t export posts due to insufficient rights and I can’t manage my widgets. I think it’s been like this for a while, I’m not sure.

Yes, I did rename the admin name but I am an admin. I even created a 2nd admin account and that account has the same problems.

So, when you;re logged in as a Super Admin, do you see it?

Super Admin is different than an administrator.

Super Admin is a role that can be given to any login; it’s not a single dedicated account. By default, one account, with username “admin”, is the only one with it.

Here is my “fix” for the mystique theme to allow theme options for all:

in the mystique theme files, edit theme-settings.php and in function mystique_add_menu() change ‘edit_themes’ to ‘edit_theme_options’

In other words, this theme puts what you’re looking for in a *different* file than functions.php and calls it from that.

I’ve read a bit on Super Admin but I have no idea how to login as a Super Admin or what the password would be.

If you’re running a network of sites and you are the main admin user who can SEE the super admin menu… you’re logged in as the Super Admin. If you were the admin of the main blog and created the menu, that’s how you get it.

you’re in the section of the forums that deals specifically with multisite issues (the network feature).
