   im just getting to grips with wordpress having migrated from Joomla.

   Ive been trying out different themes, but no themes with 2 columns work properly - images are missing and the sidebar always appears at the bottom after the blog entries.

   Im using Firefox on a mac, and have tried viewing it in safari too and have the same problem.

   i hope this isn't too much of a dumb question but how do i fix it? ive tried re-installing the theme but im still having the same problem

   a lot of the errors are table errors
   did you use tables instead of div's somewhere?

   Make sure you don't have unclosed tags and that the main page width is wide enough to accompany the all the information (sidebar and main content)

   i think the problem may be in where ive imported the content form my old site - a lot of the posts are incomplete and all of them are laid out in tables. Ill fix them and see what happens *fingers crossed*

   it worked! thanks so much! now just the matter of adjusting 100+ entires zzzzz :)
