You can modify pretty much any theme however you like – some are easier than others or may require code knowledge depending on the theme and what you want to do.

Generally, best to find a theme that’s as close as possible to what you want and then start modifying it from there – usually by using a child theme so that your changes are not lost when the theme is updated.
