• I upgraded to 2.7, and now I can not view the blog. I am able to log in to the admin page (dashboard, etc.), but I can’t view the main blog. It appears that the themes are not being loaded. When I try to change themes in the dashboard, there is nothing to see. I am at a loss as to where to go from here.

    Thanks, Jim

  • Did you double check your files to make sure that the themes folder is still there and that there are themes in that folder?

I suppose if you were using a theme that for some reason breaks with 2.7, it could react like this.

I would make sure you that theme directory, and then delete all but the default theme, so that WordPress uses that one. If it won’t run with the default theme, then something when wrong with the upgrade.

It is easiest to delete all the WordPress files besides the wp-content folder, download a fresh copy of 2.7, and reinstall all but the wp-content directory. You might want the latest version of the default theme too, since it will be slightly different than the 2.6 version.
