   My problem is that when I upload themes or plugins to the default directories of my WP installation (/wp-content/plugins/ and /wp-content/themes/) but only 3 of the plugins show up in the dashboard and none of the themes (not even the default theme, though it's the one activated (check http://gremiobauza.co.cc)
   I've been trying any possibility of changing the address settings, between one above or gremiobauza.my5gb.com which is subdomain given by my host, and those urls with the www. behind... but as i don't have .htaccess permissions in my plan, it's useless!

   (i had already posted my situation as a reply to another post, but realized that it was in the wrong forum)

   I fixed it!!!!
   all i had to do was let wp take a breath... i moved the themes to the root folder, checked the dashboard themes page, then moved the dirs and files to wp-content/themes and when I refresh the page, there they were!
   I did the same with the plugins and it worked.

   so if something like this happens to anyone, there's the solution
