    Hi everybody,

I'm very new to building a own theme for WordPress. It worked-out fine, but now I'm dealing with a problem which I can't seem to solve.
I search everywhere on this forum, tried what everybody was saying, but it didn't help me.

First of all I had problems with the adminbar and dashboard at first. After fixing that, the theme would work, but is shown as broken in the admin section (themes). It says there is a template missing, but I have all the necessary templates in the theme (index, style, header, footer, search, search form, page, etc.).

Who can help me to fix this? I already uninstall al plugins, throw everything away and started new, so to do those things again will not solve everything, it seems.

Thank you for you hard work and advice.
    Cheers, Julia

    Ps. the link is here.

What exactly is the error message?

    Hi,

    It says (translated from Dutch):

The next themes are installed, but incomplete. Themes have to have a style sheet and a template.

    Name:
    minisiteSTAS

    Description:
    Template is missing.

That's the only thing I can see as an error. Because the theme does work in the browser and browser testing programs.

    Cheers!

Have you checked Theme Development to ensure that you have all of the necessary files?

Do you need all of the listed templates?
Like 404.php, rtl.css(and what is that?), single.php, etc.?
    I thought you have enough with a index.php, style.css.

    Cheers.

Your best option would be to run your theme through http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/theme-check/ to try & identify exactly what the issues are.

Thank you. I uploaded the same folder under an other name and now it works. But this plugin comes in handy to debug it even more! Thank you.

Just out of curiosity, what folder name were you using previously?
