[Theme: Twenty Eleven] Question on branding section… need opions.

Hey,

Continuing to learn about WordPress – it’s been a lot of fun so far.

1 – I have read about replacing the title and the site description with a logo.

2 – However – the title seems fairly important to SEO.

QUESTION: Is it? Or can it be expressed somewhere on the site other than where it is?

3 – I have read you can move the title and tagline off screen.

QUESTION: Does this harm SEO? Meaning do search engines pick up on this and dock you for it?

4 – Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on how to approach this in a manner I have not considered?

Understand – I have zero experience with manipulating themes other than a background. I’m currently on my 3rd WP website total.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
