[Theme: Twenty Eleven] problems with my site via windows explorer

    Very new to WP. I am struggling to put a site together with twenty eleven theme. The site isn’t working at all when I check it on a pc using windows explorer. I noticed first that the header image slider plug-in didn’t work when I checked the site with Explorer. No header image showed up. But even if I deactivate the slider and the image comes back, the text is way off to the left.

    Any advice would be most appreciated.

    without a link to your site there is not much anybody can help you with.

    does your site validate: http://validator.w3.org/ ?

    what version of IE?

    does this happen in other browsers as well?

    Thank you for telling me a bit more alchymth
    The site is ddpe.org
    I plugged it in to the validator and found 5 errors. No coding experience so it looks very intimidating.
    Looks fine on safari and firefox.
    IE, I am looking at 6.0 but my son using a newer version says it also has problems.

    I am wondering if I should even be attempting this, but don’t want to give up too easily.

    don’t worry about those validation errors.

    your site looks ok in IE7 (windows pc) – identical to in Firefox3.6 (and IE6 is not supported by anyone anymore).

    can you post a screenshot of the problem?
