Firebug is a great tool for working with CSS in helping you identify the CSS code to change.

So I used this code from that page in the style.css sheet
.wp-caption p.wp-caption-text {
font-size:11px;
line-height:17px;
margin:0;
padding:0 4px 5px;
}
And I change the font size and nothing happened.
make image captions smaller
in what aspect?
– font size?
– grey border?
to get any suggestions, it might help if you can post a link to your site.
always clear the browser cache after changes to the styles;
‘reload’ or ‘CTRL F5’ or whatever your browser needs.
