The template should really only have one unique H1 header tag on a page, per SEO best-practices.
This would ideally be the Post/Page title instead of the blog name in the header.
Is this something you plan to address/modify in the future?

Sorry but that's just not true. It is perfectly acceptable for a page to have more than 1 H1 tag depending upon the context.
