    Hi, This theme is a free theme from Dmitry Semenov. Please visit the website and take a look. It is a very nice theme actually.

    I have tried contacting the author of this theme through email for making minor changes for several times but unfortunately there is no response what so ever until now.

    Anyway, I like the theme very much and suited for my needs. The problem with this theme is that we don't have option to change the background from color to an image we like. We can not change the background color, except by making some changes in the CSS file.

    I know a little bit about HTML and CSS but the CSS structure that I found for the theme ... well is not common for me, I guess.

    ////////////////////////////////////////////
    //
    // 3. Background colors
    //
    ////////////////////////////////////////////

    @content-background: #F8F8F6;
    @sidebar-background: #FFF;

    Currently I want to add a background image for the theme, but I don't know where to put the code.

    I've tried changing the @sidebar-background from #fff to url image, it change as I need it, but the whole sidebar is gone.

    At the moment the website is still in my local computer, so I can not share any display directly.

    If anyone with expertise in handling this can give me some guidance, I really very much appreciate it.

    Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Batharoy,

    Thank you for your reply.

    I have no problem changing the background gallery image since it is included in the tutorial. But I want to change the left side, as you can see in the video, it is color white where the menu panel are visible.

    This is before and after I make the change in the css file as mentioned above.

    Before: http://s29.postimg.org/bq9uazcmf/before.jpg

    After: http://s29.postimg.org/fl8mzt6ef/after.jpg

    The sidebar menu turns invisible after I make the change. Any ideas why?

    Thank you

    this is the header area:

    .ds-gallery-page .main-header {
    position: relative;
    background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% rgb(255, 255, 255);
    overflow-y: auto;
    height: 100%;
    float: left;
    }

    try to change the color. for me works in firefox, but not tested local or online.

    my site
