• I need help changing the “HOME” link at the top to go to a different location. Currently is goes back to the blog home. I’d like it to go to the website home.

I’d like it to go to http://www.donsjohns.com

I could change all of the other links fine in the menu. However, the “HOME” is a default and you cannot edit it from the layout. It requires a change in the code.

I would appreciate help on this issue. THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🙂

Hey thank so much for your reply.

Here is a screenshot of what I see.

The dropdown menu has all of the pages that are on the top except “HOME”. So, that’s why I assume it’s part of the css that I have to edit myself.

Just took a look at your site. Your ‘Home’ link and the site URL now appear to be pointing to the same place. Is your problem fixed?

    Hi PAE,

We’d like the “HOME” link on the blog to go to our website http://www.donsjohns.com. We are getting traffic to the blog and would like it to go to our homepage too. It seems the default is to go right back to the blog. So it must be some type of css tweak that I need to make.

When I click on it, that’s where it goes. There’s an added /home in the URL, but it goes to the same place.

Do you just want to get rid of the /home?

If so, and assuming you have a custom menu, just go to the custom menu editor in the Dashboard and change the URL for the Home menu item.

    Cheers

    Thanks for your help! 🙂

Yes currently the “HOME” tab at the top goes back to the homepage of the blog http://www.donjohns.com/blog

However, we’d like for it to go to http://www.donsjohns.com main website. Each of the other links I have pointing to the main website. I believe it will be a code change and I’m not sure how to do that.

The “HOME” tab is not in the custom menu editor. It’s a default tab.

    Thanks again!

    What theme are you using?

    Cheers
