• Hi!
    I’d like to have a tag line that will show up in Google searches, but not show up on the top of every page. Is there a way to hide it, but still make it searchable? I’ve heard it’s bad to make “white” lettering as Google doesn’t like “hidden” lettering.
    My site is here….

    Thanks
    Rebecca

    Hi Rebecca, how to do this has quite a bit of debate around it. I would suggest the following which will shift the site description way off to the left, but it is still there for the search engines.

    .site-description {
    text-indent: -9999px;
    }

    Where would be the proper place to put that in this mess?

    <?php
    /**

    ?>

    <html <?php language_attributes(); ?>>

    <meta charset="<?php bloginfo( 'charset' ); ?>">

    <title><?php wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); ?></title>
