[Theme: Sundance] Add Post Formats (3 posts)

    I'm trying to add post-formats to my blog, and I am already able to enable them in the post creation screen, however I have absolutely no idea how to style them.

    For example, I want to add the quote and aside formats, similar to how they look in Hum (humdemo.wordpress.com). I'm completely lost though, would anybody mind helping me out with a step-by-step solution to styling these?

    Hi

    you can use your own tags to display the posts content and title.
    example: <?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
    <h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1>
    <div class=""><?php the_content(); ?></div>
    <?php endwhile; // end of the loop. ?>
    you can use any html tags.

    thanks

    Thanks for helping me out!

    Ok, so I take the code:

    <?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
    <h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1>
    <div class=""><?php the_content(); ?></div>
    <?php endwhile; // end of the loop. ?>

    Do I need to edit it in any way? How would I write it if I wanted the post format to be "quote"? And then which file do I put it in?

    Also, would you explain how the syntax works? I haven't learned php yet, so it would be great to learn what each function does (this may be a bit extraneous, so if you don't have time to answer that question I will completely understand).

    Hehe, this must seem like a lot of questions, so thank you for all of your help.
