Getting images into the slidingDoor, I have:

    1) selected the post, now I'm in edit mode
    2) I now select Upload/Insert - add an image
    3) uploaded the image and selected "use as featured image"
    4) selected update page
    5) then visited site
and none of my image are shown in the image slider, all my images are jpg, 320×200, and medium quality.

I have followed these instructions below and my images don't show.

HOW TO SET UP THE SLIDING MENUS
    **************************************************

    1. Go into Appearance - Menus
    2. Create a New menu and add 7 Pages or categories to it.
    3. A new dropdown will appear on the left called 'Sliding Navigation' Select your new menu here.

    **************************************************
    HOW TO CHANGE THE IMAGES
    **************************************************

    1. Make the images using photoshop
You can download the original photo shop file from the theme homepage.
The titles of the images are changed by editing the image in photoshop.
Get any picture, crop it to 320 x 200, then write the text on it, and save it as a jpg.
Try to make the filesize small - in photoshop you do this by 'save for web' and choose medium or low quality - not high.

    2. Go to a post and select 'upload image'
    3. Select 'use as featured image'. This will set that image to the sliding door for that page.

Okay, I think I figured this out finally...
If you take a look at 2, I found that you can not set this up using Categories you must have Pages set-up for each slider, if I'm wrong Please show me maybe I missed something when I tried 5,000 time to get it to work just using Categories.

Hi Stephen... I noticed your post and thought I'd pass you some help if you haven't received any.

    - Create a page for each slider shown (I made 7 since 7 are shown)
    - For each page, set the 'Featured Image' for that page using the template they want you to add
    - Now go into 'Menus' under the 'Appearance' section.

    - The first thing I added was a 'MainNav' menu name, then save.
    - Now add the pages you want shown (start off with Home, About, etc.), then Save Menu
    - Then I added a 'SliderNav' menu name after clicking the +, then save.
    - Specifically add the pages you've made for the slider, then Save Menu

    - Under 'Theme Locations', choose 'MainNav' for the Primary Navigation and 'SliderNav' for Slider Navigation

Once you're done, go look at your site. This should help you get on track.

Is there any way you can use the Photoshop template with having Photoshop? I have tried Gimp, which can handle PSD files, but I still could not get the graphics to show up in the panel.
I might not understand how the template works with the graphics in JPG format. Could you explain?
