    Hi people, I really liked the look of sampression-lite. But I am having a problem localizing it and translating it. I manage to create the po and mo files for portuguese pt_BR, using Poedit, yet they do not work once uploaded. I found it confusing for theme not to have a language folder or an pot file inside the template. Does anybody had the same problem? Any tips on how to fix it?

    That will be great if the developer add the original language files in the package. On the other hand, you could create it with poedit of other translating tools.
    A lot of tutorials exist about it.

    You need to add/change your language template path in the "includes/functions.php" file. E.g. with using "languages" folder the load_theme_textdomain line should read:
    load_theme_textdomain(‘sampression’, TEMPLATEPATH . ‘/languages’);

    For a German translation of Sampression Lite I added a post to my website (in German):
