    Hello,

    I am using Raindrops as the base for a wedding blog. Right now I am having a couple problems and would appreciate help. I am pretty familiar with HTML and CSS, but I have never worked with WordPress templates before.

    http://wrzco.com/cr/

    1. I want to center the links under the header image, where can I do that?

    2. I want to change the link colors, right now they don't match my color scheme at all.

    3. I want to take out the "_" before "Recent Posts" and "archives".

    4. Do I have the option to change the text in the footer?

    Hi acerook

    1. I want to center the links under the header image, where can I do that?

    Please open style.css and add lastline below.
    example:

    div.menu{width:80%;margin:auto;}

    2. I want to change the link colors, right now they don't match my color scheme at all.

    Specially, I teach Raindrops's secret.

    Open raindrops options and 'Color Type' value set 'Raindrops'( If you using child theme then child theme name ) and submit.

    Current style rule ( colors backgrounds and borders ) will appear in the textarea.

    You can change anything. but buckup please.

    3. I want to take out the "_" before "Recent Posts" and "archives".

    ???
    For me, the English power of understanding is a baby.
    Please explain a question more briefly.

    4. Do I have the option to change the text in the footer?

    Do you want footer text change?

    Please open footer.php template.
    and edit it.

    Thank you.

    Hi Nobita- thank you for your response. I do have a few more questions.

    1. I added the line of code in style.css and it didn't center the links. Can you provide any other suggestions for centering my menu bar?

    2. I went in and found the CSS in "Raindrops" and I was able to change a few things. However, after looking through it several times I could not find the code to change the standard link colors. Can you tell me exactly what code I am looking for? Normally it's "a-link:ffffff" but I couldn't find that anywhere. Also, I'd like to change the fonts, but I couldn't find that in the Raindrops area either. Do I need to go into Editor to edit the styles.css?

    3. In the subhead/widget on the sidebar, where it says "Recent Posts" if you look very carefully at the left part of the grey box the words sit in, there is a tiny underscore (this: _) at the edge. I don't know where that is coming from and want to remove it.

    4. I'm sorry, I called it the wrong part- I want to change what is posted at the end of each entry. Not the main footer, but the end of entry where it currently says "This entry was posted in Capitol Weddings. Bookmark the permalink. Edit"

    Thank you!

    Since here are already some questions and i thought it is a good idea to ask here directly.

    5. Where is the Menu style defined? I mean, the background square. Is it possible to take away the square?

    thanks for this nice theme!

    Hi acerook

    1. it didn't center the links.
    Centering is possible although tried in my environment.

    please 2nd try this style rule add where style.css last line.

    #access .menu-header{
    	width:400px;margin:auto;
    }

    Regulation of the value of width may be necessity.

    2. Was text area displayed?

    textarea line maybe 15 anchor style below

    a:link,
    a:active,
    a:visited,
    a:hover,
    #site-title,
    .h1 a{
    color:#d0d0d0;
    background:none;
    }

    you can change and submit

    textarea not display?

    3. a tiny underscore (this: _) at the edge. I don't know where that is coming from and want to remove it.
    This is a background image.

    option panel 'Widget Title background image'

    tha value change from h2.png to none or h2b.png or h2c.png

    4. Remove it currently says "This entry was posted in Capitol Weddings. Bookmark the permalink. Edit"

    Please open functions.php

    line: 698

    function raindrops_posted_in() {
    		// Retrieves tag list of current post, separated by commas.
            $tag_list = get_the_tag_list( '', ', ' );
            if ( $tag_list ) {

    change below

    function raindrops_posted_in() {
    			return;
    		// Retrieves tag list of current post, separated by commas.
            $tag_list = get_the_tag_list( '', ', ' );
            if ( $tag_list ) {

    Please allow, if you do not understand that you want to be poor at English and to say it.
    Please ask a question, if there is a place which is not known.

    Thank you

    Dear Nobita,

    Thank you so much for your help. You have fixed almost all my problems!

    My site is: http://wrzco.com/cr/

    I am continuing to edit my website and have a few more questions.

    1. I have figured out how to change some of the link colors, however the main entry title as a link is still blue, instead of grey. Which CSS item is that, so I can change it?

    2. In the "Raindrops Options" it gives the link for "Widget Title Background Image" but when I click it, nothing happens. And when I scroll down the page, it is not listed. What can I do to take away h2.png?

    3. Is there any way to adjust the height of the header image- I'd like it to be taller than 190px if possible.

    Thank you so much!

    Hi acerook!

    1. I have figured out how to change some of the link colors, however the main entry title as a link is still blue, instead of grey. Which CSS item is that, so I can change it?

    if you using color type 'raindrops' then add textarea last line.

    .entry-title a{
    	color:gray;
    }

    2. In the "Raindrops Options" it gives the link for "Widget Title Background Image" but when I click it, nothing happens. And when I scroll down the page, it is not listed. What can I do to take away h2.png?

    Reason:
    If color type 'Raindrops' is chosen, the automatic color scheme in front of that will be displayed on text area.

    Color type 'Raindrops' has in order to take over the automatic processing till then to you.

    Color type 'Raindrops' suspends an automatic setup.

    >What can I do to take away h2.png?

    if you using color type 'raindrops' then add textarea last line.

    .footer-widget h2,.rsidebar h2,.lsidebar h2 {
    color:#444444;
    	background-color:#ededed;
    background:#ededed url(http://www.odekake.biz/wp/wp-content/themes/raindrops/images/h2.png);color:#222222;
    background-position:0 0;
    }

    Note
    background-position:0 0; setting example

    Widget title back ground position settings manualy
    for example

    case select 1
    .footer-widget h2,.rsidebar h2,.lsidebar h2 {
    	....
    	background-position:0 -26px;
    }
    case select 2
    .footer-widget h2,.rsidebar h2,.lsidebar h2 {
    	....
    	background-position:0 -52px;
    }

    ....

    3. Is there any way to adjust the height of the header image- I'd like it to be taller than 190px if possible.

    Raindrops options 'image upload' form

    input 'box height' your setting value (example value. 300) when you upload image

    I am sorry to be poor at English.

    Thank you

    Hi Nobita,

    Thank you for your continued support as I use your beautiful template. I have a new set of questions for your help!

    1. The links in my dropdown menu are red- which I'd like to change. What class of links are they so I can change the color?

    2. Can I put text/images in the header space? Like here:
    http://baysidebride.com/
    They have "Join our Vendor List" "Submissions" and "contact us" ABOVE the actual site header. Where would I put that code to add links or images?

    3. For the navigation bar, where can I edit the link font size? I want to make them bigger and bolder. I also want to increase the space between each link- how do I do that?

    4. In the post description, I want to move the "comment" button to align right, where would I put that code?

    Thank you for your help!!

    Hi acerook

    1. The links in my dropdown menu are red- which I'd like to change. What class of links are they so I can change the color?

    if you using color type 'raindrops' then add textarea last line.

    textarea, input[type="password"], input[type="text"], input[type="submit"], input[type="reset"], input[type="file"] {
    color: #fff;
    background-color: #000;
    }

    2. Can I put text/images in the header space? Like here:
    http://baysidebride.com/
    They have "Join our Vendor List" "Submissions" and "contact us" ABOVE the actual site header. Where would I put that code to add links or images?

    header.php line:60

    <div id="hd" style="<?php echo raindrops_upload_image_parser($header_image_uri,'inline','#hd'); ?>">
    <!-- Add this example -->
    <div class="page-top-right-navigation"><a href="http://www.example.com">test</a></div>

    if you using color type 'raindrops' then add textarea last line.

    #hd{
    position:relative;
    }
    #hd .page-top-right-navigation{
    position:absolute;
    top:30px;
    right:10px;
    }

    3. For the navigation bar, where can I edit the link font size? I want to make them bigger and bolder. I also want to increase the space between each link- how do I do that?

    if you using color type 'raindrops' then add textarea last line.

    #access a{
    font-size:25px;
    }

    4. In the post description, I want to move the "comment" button to align right, where would I put that code?

    if you using color type 'raindrops' then add textarea last line.

    .posted-on{
    	position:relative;
    }
    .raindrops-comment-link{
    position:absolute;
    right:0;
    }

    Since test sufficient like it is equal to actual use is not done, these codes should do sufficient test.

    Thank you

    Hello! You seem experienced with the raindrops theme

    I am having some issues with my styling.

    It appears that raindrops automatically adds: style="border: medium none;" to the last menu item

    I want to remove this!

    Please advise!!!

    Google 'CSS border'.

    This is in relation to an answer given by Nobita 11 months ago, but it is quite relevant to me today...
    I need to change the text in the footer on my site: http://medicinewheelastrology.com
    I looked through the footer.php but couldn't locate the text that is even there!
    Attempted to put a banner in a footer widget that had the same info to stretch across the bottom, but it didn't work (it came up way too small and is stuck on the left).
    Please if you know Raindrops secrets can you help?
    Thanks,
    Star
