   The Portfolio Categories are no longer appearing the appearance > menu.

   I've got both recommended plug-ins installed (Options Framework and Portfolio Post Type). Am I missing something?

   These did work and suddenly are not longer working. The only thing I can think of is that I did change my admin password.

   Is there another way (other than relying on menus) that I can put the Portfolio Categories in the sidebar?

   I am having the same problem. My site is http://spencernetdesign.com/,
   when I am on the portfolio pages, which are prefaced with /portfolio, as in http://spencernetdesign.com/portfolio/ - I cannot see the custom menus.

   Click on "Screen Options" at the top left of your dashboard, right underneath the "Howdy," and check the box next to "Portfolio Categories." That should do the trick. :)
