[Theme: Pitch] how to create submenus?

I am currently using pitch theme and created two different menus as this theme support two of them. Then I created three pages, one top-level and two child of it, I added them to both the menus and I dragged the children below the father one a little bit on the right. Then I saved and I loaded the website, but there is no evidence of the two submenus (the children) nowhere. I refreshed the site several times but with no results.
Why? How can I get submenus with this theme?
