    Hi,

I was using PageLines when today, 09/14/2012, When clicking on Live Preview, I got this error message:

"Sorry preview is disabled, enable PageLines Framework."

On some of my sites, it will not even activate and on others, it activated, but it still has that error. Is anyone experiencing this error too?

    I have tried is on
    Multisite WordPress installation 3.4.2
    Multisite WordPress 3.4.1
    Single standalone site WordPress 3.4.2

They all seem to have the same error with the preview being disabled. I seem to have noticed this problem since the recent update to PageLines on 09/12/2012. I tried to put in the 1.2.4 version of PageLines from the SVN, just to try, but it also didn't work (I was only half expecting that to work).

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you,
    Daniel

Yea, live preview was kind of broken because the main stylesheet css is compiled after you save the main settings using the LESS compiler.
It makes the live customiser not work to well so we just added an error message.

    Hi Simon,

Thank you for the quick response. Sorry for this late reply. So is there a fix or anything? Why wouldn't the live preview work if the theme was written with the css being compiled before?

To compile all the less files, once you save settings in the PageLines settings area, the next visit to the front end compiles all the css, but the customizer loads the font page from the admin area, so the css does NOT compile. Anyway, all you could do was change the blog title and tagline so it was not really of any use.
