   Hi, I am very new to wordpress, I want to create a webstore to sell fashion items in my webstore. However, I cannot find any suitable theme or template, I have only found the one with the cherry on it. Nor can I find how to modify an existing template. Can I please be guided where to look for this?

   missminx, that name kinda reminds me of youtube.

   Anyway, There are thousands of themes and templates on the internet. To edit an existing theme you can edit the core PHP and CSS files on your localhost or whatever. Or from the WordPress's dashboard, Under "Appearance"

   Try looking for themes that have a custom-header tag. These themes should allow you to upload a header image that is appropriate for your site without you having to touch any code.

   i am trying to work with arras but not succeeding yet. Is that one of the type you refer to? I have a feeling that wordpress if mostly for blogging at the end of the day and perhaps not so much for a commercial site, anyway before uploading to gold I need to see if it is suitable for me to sell items.

   You should start not with a theme but the ecommerce itself - the shopping cart.

   Go to this site for a great ecommerce solution for wordpress and wordpress ecommerce examples.

   I use ecommerce on my own site here.
