   Hi, am at the end of my tether so please help. I used dreamhost to install wordpress advanced. I purchased a theme from wootheme. I logged in to FTP and found directory and moved theme across.
   It seems to transfer successfully but does not then show up in the directory or become available in wordpress.
   I did this same thing with another site just two weeks ago.
   I have tried a hundred times deleting and reinstalling the one click download from dreamhost and uploading theme via FTP.
   Bur always same result. Can someone help?

   Where are you uploading the theme folder to?

   Also, make sure you are not accidentally uploading a folder that contains another one. For example
   

   - /theme_name 1.0/
   --- /theme-name/
   ------ files.php

   If you just upload /theme_name 1.0/ folder to the /themes/ directory, it won't work. You need to upload the /theme-name/ folder only.

   So on dreamhost we ca upload wordpress themes, how? Excuse my ignorance but I'm green on internet matters.
