MyMag theme does not display any featured images (3 posts)

Okay so i don't know what has gone wonky here but I have made zero changes to any of my three sites currently using the mymag theme and hosted by godaddy. I know the sites were working a week ago when I last checked in and updated... but now they don't display any images on the post sliders like the image links are broken.

I thought it was a directory structure issue -- maybe the images could not display due to something being off in the referencing structure but the images display correctly in the featured images area when you go to edit any of the affected posts. I also tried making a new post, uploading a new photo to make sure the directory structure was correct, and still get the same problem.

I'm lost since I personally have not made any changes -- and even if I accidentally have one of the three sites has not been logged into until I went in to check.

Anyone have any thoughts? The sites are managed for a school -- and of course classes have started and I'm getting a lot of emails.

Each site uses their own install since each of the three need to be managed by separate entities/parties with their own logins.

It looks like the images links are referring to the TimThumb plug-in.

Quite a while back, a vulnerability was discovered with TimThumb and the filters mentioned in this blog post may be what are causing the issue: http://go.me/Vl

Updating to the most current version of TimThumb may correct the issue.

You can find the updated version here:
