• Somewhat new to wordpress. I’m using the Motion theme on wordpress 3.3.1. If I create grandchild categories and go to the parent category in the navigation menu, the grandchild categories will cover up the child categories below them.

    For example:

    MOONS
    -Phases
    — New Moon
    -Eclipses

In this example, were I to have a grandchild category “New Moon” it would cover up the child category “Eclipses” on my menu. Is there a way I can change it so that the grandchild category only shows up when I hover over it’s associated child category, instead of just showing up when I hover over the parent category?

I noticed that is still does this on the demo site as well.

I’m not currently using the grandchild categories on my site because of this very problem. Since the theme doesn’t allow for customized category order (it’s all alphabetical) I can’t just rearrange things.

Here’s a link to the theme I’m talking about. Clicking the demo will show you want I mean.

Adding a hover effect to the grandchild categories would fix the problem I just have no idea where or what to add.

My site is http://www.ravenswyrd.com/ and if you go to the first category of Astrology, you’ll see that I’ve included a grandchild category of “crystals” under the “Aries” child category. The “crystals” grandchild category now covers up the “Cancer” child category.

What I need help with is fixing the grandchild categories so they only show up, preferably to the right of the child category they are associated with, when you hover over said child category.

    Any help would be welcome.
