[Theme: Minimatica] Adding a Facebook Link "Button" to Home Page

    I am seeking to embed a link to my Facebook profile on my Minimatica-based homepage. http://evelyngrundy.com/

    I have toyed with a number of Facebook plugins and thus far all only add Facebook integration on blog posts.

    Since I am a complete neophyte when it comes to more advanced capabilities of this theme I am stuck with two prospective work arounds:

    1) Find the right plugin to get Facebook integration on my home page; or
    2) Find out how to embed custom links on my menu that use pictures/logos rather than text.

    If I can work this out I would also like to incorporate a link to my LinkedIn profile on the home page, but that is a secondary priority at this time.

    Any thoughts as to where I should start? Thanks!
