Is there a way to hyperlink the title in the “MB – Featured Post” widget?

But realize now it’s only partly an answer, because it adds the link to all the headings in the various widgets in that particular sidebar. I want the link only in the heading of the “MB-Featured Post” widget. Back to the drawing board for this novice.

You can always try adding an anchor tag directly into the input field.
