• I’m working on a site design for a friend with a purchased template. The Arkon theme shipped with a lang folder and arkon.po and arkon.mo. The file is formatted like this below the file header info:

    #: ../footer.php:13
    #: ../footer.php:20
    #: ../footer.php:27
    #: ../footer.php:34
msgid "This is a widget area, so please add widgets here..."
    msgstr ""

    and

    #: ../includes/lib/custom-functions.php:110
    msgid "From the Blog"
    msgstr ""

This seems to be the only place certain text inputs are defined. For instance, I would like to change “From the Blog” to “Galleries” as that is what they will be using that section for… I tried changing the msgid to what I wanted, adding text to the msgstr, etc and saw no change. Heck, I deleted the darn files and still saw no change… I tried removing the hash jic that was a comment tag, but alas no change.

So, I’m wondering if the text is defined elsewhere and I’m just too silly/ignorant to find it.
