I had my theme set up just like I wanted it with the right side bar customized but since I updated the theme I can't get rid of the archive sidebar in place of the customized sidebar that I had set up.
This is the site. If I need to provide more information just let me know.

It works until you go to any of the links and try to go to home.
Probably has to do with the header-text errors, http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3a%2f%2fwww.buyersofcharlotte.com%2f
You can also try
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
