After activating theme it is coming up “not found”. Prior to this contents from the prior theme pages were showing up in theme. I deleted all pages and now the theme is not showing? HELP!

I am very new to all of this so need all the help and suggestions I can get. Thank you in advance!

  • What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

I was trying the twenty twelve and several others. I just activated a theme from artisteer and it worked and I was given the option to replace contents.

When I am using a standard WordPress theme how do I replace the contents? I tried deleting all my pages but that is when the themes started messing up. It doesn’t give me the option after activating the theme.

    Thank you

Sorry it is from my demo site if that is what you were asking. I now just activated the theme pinboard. It worked but it is showing the contents from the theme from the artisteer theme I uploaded prior.

How do I get the newly activated theme to just show it’s own theme contents?

I’m sorry but we do not support Artisteer themes here. So you’ll need to try asking on http://www.artisteer.com/?forum_id=13&p=forum_topics about that theme. For now, I can only suggest that you try deleting the theme from your remote site and ensure that you have flushed any caching plugins.

I will contact them at artisteer for any support on their themes issues, thank you for the link.

The problem is with the WordPress theme I just activated twenty twelve again and it is not showing the theme just a gray outside box and white in the center box and its not it’s own content.

I will try flushing any caching plugins. Can you explain to me in detail how to do that?

    Thank you
