   Hey,

   I want to set up a site about WordPress and bbPress and want to have a theme resembling the lay-out of these websites as a starting point.

   Is the wordpress.org theme available for download so I can make modifications to it for my own site? (like changing the colour scheme and fonts being used)

   ok. I just went out of my way to create my own theme.
   For later reference: the theme zBench will help you come a long way in this way.
