   I added the hey-cookie theme into wordpress but the dummy items in the site are not populating like the demo. Is there a way to fix this problem?

   In order for your posts to appear in the "grid" on the blog index, you need to set a Featured Image for each post. If you want a slider, you need to set that up in the Theme Options. Check out the Help menu (upper right corner) under Theme Options for more info, and read the readme.txt file included with the theme to get started.
