I just purchased a new them called Kingsize from themeForest.
As much as I love their theme the assumptions when you pay for a them is that you might get a little customer service but no.
After a couple of emails and no reply I am hoping someone can help me here.
I use a plug-in to remove comments but in their theme there is one place that the plug-in does not work.

I tried using firebug and can't figure out where this is hiding.

I would like to remove the background block but ONLY on the about page.
Any help would be amazing.
As this is a commercial theme, we cannot really help. You need to seek support from the theme vendors.

As stated above they are answering my requests....
I wish I could have found a theme similar to this for free but after searching I had no luck.
Maybe you can help me indirectly.
When using firebug it states that the css that controls this is in news-updates #2 but no such css exists. I imagine regardless of the theme I would have the same problem finding it.

you need to seek help with the developer because i believe the background code is build-in when it was build. backgrounds for themes/templates has many pictures combined with codes. You can change each background but you need more time and effort to do that. I hope that helps.

It isn't the background that I want to eliminate. It is actually the box on top of the background I want to remove.
I just purchased the Kingsize as well. I've not had any problems getting response from the developer but the set-up process, for me, was a bit confusing. I got through it. Question. . .have you been able to figure out how to edit the text and links for the 3 column footer section? I've looked around in the theme can can't figure this out.
