    Hi everyone!

I'm new to wordpress and would appreciate any help from experienced users.

I'm using Graphene template and there is a minor issue I can't wrap my head around.

After getting rid of the grey border around the images, now there is a space/gap between them. Does anyone know how to remove it so the images align side-by-side?

    Thanks!

Throw us a link where this is happening, so we can take a look.

As an alternative method, you might want to consider using Firebug to isolate the CSS that is causing the gap.

    Hey kjodile,

I got that part figure out. Been reading through the forum that's why.

Another issue, how can we remove the calendar date on the left hand side of each post?

Oh, gee whiz...I was going to give you a big, complicated solution that involved custom CSS when I remembered there's an option for that:

Go to Graphene Options >> Display Options >> Posts Display Options

There is an option labeled "Post date display". You can select icon with the year, icon without the year, inline text, or no date at all.

    Hey kjodile,

Thanks a lot! I actually wouldn't mind a few pointers in using CSS. I'm new to wordpress and it's different and more powerful compared to blogger.

If you're not busy, do share some tips as I'm trying to figure out the comment section.

    1. The background color/gradient in the comment. I would like to have one solid color.
    2. Highlight author/admin comments. I tried a plugin for this (Simple Highlight Author) but it didn't work...

    Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry but it is beyond the remit of these forums to teach basic CSS. Try asking on a general CSS forum. Or try these resources:

You can also ask for Graphene-specific CSS help at the Graphene Support Forum:

    http://forum.khairul-syahir.com/

    Come join us there!

I also have some WordPress tutorials on my blog here, and some Graphene tutorials here.

I highly recommend the resources Esmi listed. I have learned a lot from them.

Sorry for asking numerous questions in the wrong forum. I'll head over to the right one.

Thanks for the links esmi and kjodle!
